About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure successful delivery and commercial performance of client engagements.
- Ensure teams deliver required outputs on time and within budget, with quality and governance checks completed.
- Work closely with the Account Leader to achieve client strategic objectives, demonstrate measurable value, identify relationship-deepening opportunities, and grow work within current clients and projects.
- Provide day-to-day leadership across engagements and act as an escalation point for Associates and Senior Associates.
- Take accountability for the quality of client-facing work, final analysis, and recommendations.
- Build, grow, and maintain trusted relationships with client teams and relevant supply-chain contacts.
- Lead commercial and strategic discussions, support supplier negotiations, and help convert opportunities into successful outcomes and income.
- Produce analysis, recommendations, presentations, negotiation and tender documentation, written reports, appendices, and pricing tables.
- Support commercial contracts and service level agreements.
- Produce client-focused reports using Excel, Power BI, written reports, and presentations.
- Lead discussions on commercial opportunities, improvements, additional value, follow-on work, renewals, and broader use of CMSPI services.
- Provide feedback, support development conversations, and lead training sessions for the wider team.
- Maintain and share market and product knowledge; support cross-team initiatives, Marketing, Insights, and external events.
- Coordinate project resourcing with the PMO Lead.
- Support sales calls, meetings, product demonstrations, cross-selling, renewals, and follow-on projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or related.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in consulting, customer success or account management of enterprise-level clients.
- Willingness to travel to client and company meetings as required.
- Advanced competency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of analytics tools, such as PowerBI and advanced use of Excel is highly desirable.
- Ambitious, confident, and desire to have meaningful business engagements with some of the biggest brands in the world.
- Curiosity to learn and develop market-leading relationship management, negotiation, and commercial skills.
- Outgoing and proactive, comfortable with leading external merchant facing discussions, including negotiations and stakeholder management.
- Ability to make a positive impact during stakeholder meetings and influence decision making.
- Strong ability to apply logic, creativity, and solid problem-solving techniques, and manage multiple competing projects and priorities.
- Interest in innovation and developments around payments, consulting, market intelligence, and sophisticated data analytics.
