About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting energy and utilities clients with documenting land rights in Scotland and England via servitudes and easements
- Managing your own caseload of transactions
- Liaising with clients to obtain instructions
- Drafting easement/servitude documentation
- Negotiating with the counterparty to the transaction
- Carrying out basic title reviews
- Updating online trackers
- Managing completion and post-completion registrations, forms, filing and client signing/reporting requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Assistant Paralegal or experienced Real Estate-focused Paralegal
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to use initiative
- Used to dealing with a large workload
- Strong academic background
- Law degree or equivalent qualification
- Working towards CILEX or previous Paralegal experience in a Real Estate background is preferred.
