About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • A Junior Instructional Designer assists in creating educational and training materials, collaborating with experts, and applying instructional design principles to enhance learning experiences.
  • Designing and developing instructional materials such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training, training manuals, and instructional videos
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and senior instructional designers to gather content, insights, and ensure accuracy
  • Applying instructional design models and adult learning theories to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences
  • Testing and revising materials based on feedback and learner evaluations to improve effectiveness.
  • Staying updated on instructional design trends and tools, including e-learning authoring software and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 1-5 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, Human Performance Improvement, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of instructional design experience.
  • Proficient with Articulate Rise and Storyline
  • Experience conducting needs analyses and developing performance-based learning solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing: eLearning Virtual instructor-led training Job aids and performance support tools
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience partnering with SMEs and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
