Analyst, Commercial Real Estate Lending
CMLS FinancialAnalyst role providing analytical support for commercial lending at CMLS Financial. Investigating borrower quality and aiding in the deal pipeline process.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide analytical support necessary to drive our deal pipeline.
- Investigating borrower quality and managing documentation for commercial loans.
- Act as a key coordinator assisting the Origination team in gathering due diligence.
- Develop technical skills by scrubbing property operating statements and financial data.
- Collaborate with the team to draft Mortgage Presentations.
- Help move deals from the Commitment Letter to the closing table.
- Monitor real estate landscape nationwide for current market data.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education in finance, economics, real estate, business administration, or a related field.
- One (1) year of experience in commercial real estate underwriting, valuation, risk, or credit analysis will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in English and French will be considered an asset.
- A proactive, self-driven approach.
- Deep understanding of financial statements and market trends.
