About the role

  • Review project proposal and plan to determine time frame, funding margins, and procedures
  • Prepare reports for management and/or customer
  • Interact with customers based on any project changes
  • Manage costs and maximize profitability
  • Liaison between customers and internal departments
  • Occasional local site/customer office visits
  • Creative thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for each job
  • Other responsibilities assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing or other similar businesses
  • Extensive experience managing large construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment
  • Experienced with field work and understanding the customer’s needs
  • Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferred; AutoCAD skills are a plus
  • Will vary; dependent upon project requirements
