About the role

  • Responsible for day-to-day transactions such as processing employee data changes
  • Process weekly payroll and serve as main point of contact for Kronos issues or concerns
  • Assist HR Manager in facilitating a seamless new hire onboarding experience including pre-employment and orientation activities
  • Assist with scheduling full-time interviews and sourcing candidates for hard to fill positions
  • Assist with plant wide communication through Microsoft Outlook and formatting Power Point slides
  • Assist in planning company events and community involvement opportunities
  • Develop and manage relationships with local schools and communities to identify opportunities to participate in job fairs, career days, etc.
  • Monitor and coordinate all event materials as necessary (banners, tablecloths, giveaways, flyers, etc.)
  • Identify and communicate general issues and concerns to the HR Manager and participate in development of the proper response to such issues
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with various employment regulations
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years' experience in similar office environment preferred
  • Ability to work an 8-hour schedule at the office (no remote work)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
  • High integrity and confidentiality required
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Responsive nature with strong sense of urgency to handle matters quickly
  • Must have strong customer service skills and a great attitude
  • Professional communication skills required, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's degree required
