About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, maintain, optimize, and support UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management applications
- Configure organizational structures, job codes, employee records, security roles, workflows, system tables, scheduling profiles, and user personas/security profiles
- Support workforce scheduling and timekeeping processes
- Troubleshoot timekeeping, attendance, leave, scheduling, and accrual issues
- Create, maintain, and distribute HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Workforce Management reports
- Develop dashboards and metrics for leadership and operational teams
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends, process improvement opportunities, and compliance risks
- Validate data accuracy between HRIS and downstream payroll systems
- Participate in HRIS implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects
- Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Conduct configuration, unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing
- Document processes, system changes, and configuration decisions
- Monitor and support inbound and outbound system integrations, file feeds, and interfaces
- Identify data discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 HRIS support
- Train HR, Payroll, managers, and employees on HRIS and Workforce Management functionality
- Develop user guides, SOPs, and training documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Maintain system security and confidentiality standards
- Support internal and external audits related to HR, Payroll, and Workforce Management data
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3 years of HRIS experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with UKG Pro
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with UKG Workforce Management (WFM)
- Experience supporting Payroll, Timekeeping, and HR operations
- Experience with system implementations, upgrades, and testing
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Knowledge of UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management administration
- Knowledge of workforce scheduling and timekeeping configuration
- SQL or advanced reporting tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Data analysis and reconciliation
- HRIS security administration
- Interface and integration troubleshooting
- Knowledge of HR processes and workflows, payroll processing and controls, benefits administration, time and attendance management, leave management, labor law compliance, and workforce analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to support diverse stakeholders
