About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

manage urgent aircraft-related shipments from order receipt through to final delivery
identify and secure the most effective transport solutions
coordinate collections, export handling, customs clearance requirements, airline uplifts and final delivery
take ownership of shipment tracking and monitoring
proactively manage exceptions and resolve disruptions
prepare and verify all import and export documentation
confirm stock availability, dispatch readiness and transit plans
maintain continuous communication with customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

experience within airfreight, freight forwarding, aerospace logistics or another time-critical logistics environment
strong understanding of international airfreight operations, including air waybills, airline routings, express services, cargo handling and global transportation networks
experience managing import and export shipments
highly organised
capable of making confident decisions under pressure
strong problem-solving abilities
knowledge of customs procedures, export controls, HS codes and global trade compliance requirements
excellent communication skills
thrive in a fast-paced operational environment
