About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise CMA CGM Group entities on competition law issues (mainly antitrust law and merger control)
- Analyze the notifiability of contemplated M&A transactions
- Manage the preparation and follow-up of merger notifications to competition authorities
- Ensure the legal validity of operational partnerships according to local regulations
- Provide technical support in the Group's merger operations
- Monitor pre-litigation and litigation procedures and coordinate responses to requests from competition authorities
- Participate in developing internal procedures for compliance and training actions
- Involvement in contract reviews and regulatory matters
- Ensure legal and regulatory monitoring on competition and sectoral issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a Master 2 in Law
- Have a first experience in competition law
- Proficient in both English and French, spoken and written
- Advanced proficiency in IT and digital tools
- Experience related to transport, logistics chain management, or media and press sectors is a significant advantage
- Previous experience in law firms or competition authorities will also be valued
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in simplifying competition law topics
- Ability to respond effectively under tight deadlines to complex requests
- Rigor, responsiveness, adaptability, analytical and synthesis skills
