About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Sales Support Representatives to achieve service, quality, and performance objectives.
  • Manage an assigned sales support portfolio, providing timely and effective support to customers and the Outside Sales team.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues, customer complaints, and dispute resolution matters.
  • Monitor team workloads, allocate resources effectively, and ensure compliance with established processes and service standards.
  • Drive operational excellence through accurate rate validation, data quality management, process improvement initiatives, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or a customer-focused commercial environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and support a team while managing operational responsibilities.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills, particularly in relation to data accuracy, rate validation, and dispute resolution.
  • Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. New Zealand citizens planning to relocate permanently to Victoria, Australia, are more than welcome to apply.
