About the role

  • Work with sites to improve their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Deliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes.
  • Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities and through training, coaching and data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain BPE tools: such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports.
  • Guide and drive our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program.

Requirements

  • Our ideal candidate is tertiary qualified in industrial engineering (or related) and has solid experience gained in a related role in any industry (preference for logistics / supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related).
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, etc.
  • Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Strong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros).
  • Bonus: AutoCAD or similar.
  • In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
