About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage bookings, including virtual carrier bookings, and maintain related data in OPTIM.
  • Coordinate carrier allocations across trade lanes in line with negotiated agreements for FAK, NVOCC, and NAC Basket contracts.
  • Instruct origin agents on the contracts to use once cargo delivery dates are confirmed.
  • Develop and maintain allocation cards using the DMP OPTIM tool.
  • Coordinate daily with carriers and monitor service performance.
  • Manage space and equipment release with carriers.
  • Analyze deviation reports and provide feedback to carriers.
  • Create and maintain reporting to improve visibility on contract usage and capacity optimization.
  • Build strong relationships with other TPC teams across regions, including Asia and the Americas.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual workload and email volume.
  • Monitor process compliance and contribute to reducing shortfalls.
  • Improve schedule visibility across carriers.
  • Communicate with the European network through regional teams and agencies.
  • Assess operational needs and monitor performance across stakeholders.
  • Maintain proactive communication through network alerts to highlight opportunities or issues.
  • Lead or support conference calls with stakeholders when appropriate.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree in Transport and Logistics or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in transport and logistics.
  • Fluency in English
  • Intermediate to advanced command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a dynamic and collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and data.
