About the role

  • Day-to-day planning of deliveries for local and regional PUD fleet within scope
  • Plan and manifest timely, efficient freight deliveries to meet DIFOT and cost targets
  • Book additional ad-hoc transport as required
  • Provide manifests and paperwork to dispatching depot
  • Liaise with depot supervisors and team leaders to ensure timely loading of PUD vehicles
  • Report incidents, hazards and non-compliances and implement corrective actions
  • Investigate and resolve service or operational issues
  • Ensure runs comply with statutory and company requirements (driver fatigue, load restraint)
  • Complete critical processes in Transport Management System within required timeframes
  • Ensure effective utilisation of CEVA sub-contractors and contract carriers

Requirements

  • Experience in fleet planning, allocation or coordination (transport sector)
  • Basic to intermediate MS Office skills
  • Ability to learn new systems and work with technologies
  • Good written and verbal communication, time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot, suggest solutions or escalate as required
  • Knowledge of driver fatigue and load restraint statutory requirements
  • Willingness to undergo medical assessment and national police check
  • Proof of work rights and suitable professional referees
