About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the day-to-day management of Accounts Receivable across CMA CGM Group carriers within Oceania.
- Oversee freight, sundries, detention and demurrage transactions while ensuring effective credit control and timely collections across both cash and credit accounts.
- Assess customer creditworthiness, manage credit limits and terms, and conduct regular credit reviews.
- Monitor aged receivables and collection performance.
- Prepare and analyse credit control and Accounts Receivable reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of credit control processes.
- Lead, coach, and support the credit control team to achieve performance targets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7 years’ experience in credit management, account management, customer service, or customer relationship management within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills are essential.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A background or qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business, and/or previous experience within the shipping industry, would be advantageous but are NOT essential.
- Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
