About the role
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative logistics solutions tailored to finished vehicle transportation requirements.
- Supervise and mentor a team of solution designers, providing guidance and support to uphold high standards of performance and creativity.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of current logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to optimise flow and performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners worldwide to ensure solutions align with business goals and customer expectations.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to deliver solutions on schedule without compromising quality.
- Leverage data analytics to derive insights and inform decision-making processes related to logistics solutions and operational improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to continuously enhance solution design capabilities.
- Support the development of training materials and facilitate knowledge sharing to empower teams across regions.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in logistics solution design, with a strong emphasis on finished vehicle logistics or related sectors.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising and motivating diverse teams in a dynamic, multinational environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities complemented by analytical thinking and strategic vision.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities and complex stakeholder demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration across different cultures and disciplines.
- A degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Proficient in relevant digital tools and software related to logistics planning and data analysis.
