💰 $62,000 - $65,900 per year

About the role

  • Supports a commercial region or customer segment as the principal CMA CGM contact for all customer rate inquiries for either import or export cargo
  • Responsible for maintaining understanding of trade lanes to effectively grow market share
  • Partners with field sales and works with trade/line to provide quotations
  • Organizes and expedites customer contracts to ensure proper construction and filing of agreed terms and conditions
  • Expedites all issues by quickly resolving them to reduce service failures or loss of business
  • Supports overall business strategy and adapts to the industry’s constantly changing environment
  • Executes essential functions and duties as well as day-to-day responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of general experience
  • Minimum 2 years work experience required preferably in inside sales, sales or customer service
  • Minimum 1 year transportation industry experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • The ability to establish priorities and organize time effectively
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Working knowledge of commercial and financial terminology of international trade
  • Proven computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite
