About the role
- Manage and monitor overall indirect procurement function and activities in North Asia
- Manage a team of 5 buyers across North Asia countries
- Manage the Strategic Sourcing of all general category goods and services (excluding Transport)
- Maximize the delivery of savings through transformational procurement/sourcing programs
- Interact with senior stakeholders within the CEVA organization
- Define, implement, and deliver Procurement sourcing activity across North Asia
- Improve current purchasing system and workflow to comply with procurement rules and regulations
- Lead and manage cost enhancing procurement activities on clusters/local purchased commodities and services
- Implement Global Procurement Strategy and Contracts in collaboration with APAC Regional and Global Procurement
- Manage the relationship with senior stakeholders and develop solid communication channels with business operation teams
- Work closely with Finance to streamline the Procure-to-Pay process
- Drive productivity to improve company’s profitability and report all procurement savings
Requirements
- University/bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics and ideally in Supply Chain
- At least 8 years of working experience in procurement and 3 years people management experience
- Senior stakeholder management experience and multi-category procurement experience
- Excellent Numerical and Analytical skills
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Highly motivated and ability to work under pressure in a highly demanding and matrix organization
- Results oriented and accurate
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
