About the role

  • Supervise newbuilding construction for the CMA CGM Group.
  • Ensure compliance with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations.
  • Propose and implement continuous performance improvement plans.
  • Review and issue comments on drawings for approval.
  • Follow up on drawing approvals and monitor work progress.
  • Lead the procurement process for stores and spare parts.
  • Manage vessel deliveries.
  • Ensure approval of specifications.
  • Conduct risk analyses for ongoing projects.
  • Report on project progress.
  • Ensure lessons learned and feedback are applied to ongoing projects.
  • Propose new standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure vessels are constructed in compliance with regulations and specifications.
  • Interface with the RSE on environmental matters.
  • Identify, record, and monitor KPIs during construction.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, naval architecture, or from a maritime school.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the maritime industry.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Technical knowledge of vessel design.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt priorities as needed.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
