About the role
- Coordination of complex project shipments across sea, air and land transport.
- Management of major clients / key accounts.
- Management of shipments for global projects, including maintenance of account-specific IT systems and data.
- Project budgeting and preparation of transport cost calculations.
- Maintenance and expansion of the customer base across Germany.
- Implementation and onboarding of new business.
- Obtaining and negotiating transport rates across the entire transport chain.
- Preparation and negotiation of transport quotations for domestic and international customers as well as for the company network.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk (Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung) or equivalent qualification.
- Initial professional experience in logistics.
- Strong customer and service orientation with a pronounced hands-on mentality.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team player with flexibility, commitment and self-initiative.
- Confident English communication, both written and spoken.
