About the role
- Responsible for preparing the monthly payroll, taking into account contractual, social security and tax regulations.
- Point of contact for colleagues on income tax, social security and payroll-specific questions.
- Maintenance and updating of payroll-relevant data, including handling notifications and certification processes.
- Preparation of reports, statistics and analyses for internal and external purposes.
- Correspondence with authorities, agencies and health insurance providers is also part of the role.
- Participation in payroll tax and social security audits as well as other examinations.
- Recording and maintenance of personnel movement and master data as well as absence tracking, including verification of continued payment of wages.
Requirements
- Professional experience or completed further training in payroll accounting.
- Sound knowledge of income tax, social security and labor law.
- Experience with LOGA/P&I is an advantage and confident use of MS Office applications.
- Careful, reliable and independent working style and a high sense of responsibility.
- Strong discretion when handling sensitive data.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
