About the role

  • Achieve sales targets and budget objectives
  • Regular on-site presence with customers
  • Build a stable regional network and participate in relevant industry events
  • Plan, manage, and optimize sales routes, customer contacts, and quotations
  • Manage the sales territory and proactively maintain and acquire customers
  • Sell CMA CGM SSL Intra North Europe and Group products
  • Conduct market analysis, generate leads, and manage the sales pipeline
  • Monitor and optimize sales processes and track performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams on negotiations, strategy development, and tender management
  • Implement projects and account plans to develop customer relationships

Requirements

  • Professional training in shipping or logistics, or a comparable completed university degree
  • Five to ten years of experience in the shipping industry and in external sales
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German
  • Computer skills: Microsoft 365, e‑Commerce, SAP
  • Good judgment and decisiveness
  • Strong communication skills and customer focus
  • Excellent networking abilities
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
