About the role
- Strategic and operational leadership of the site with over 1,000 employees as part of a major e‑commerce project
- Responsibility for all logistics processes: Inbound, Storage, Pick, Pack, Outbound
- Budget and results responsibility for a revenue volume of approximately USD 300 million
- Resource management: efficiently managing personnel, infrastructure and budget
- Process optimization and KPI management to ensure productivity, quality and safety
- Implementation of new warehouse structures and management of ramp‑up phases
- Interface management: close cooperation with Finance, HR, QSHE, Procurement and the Central Eastern Europe Contract Logistics team
- Change management and leadership: fostering a performance‑oriented culture and driving improvement projects
Requirements
- Completed university degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related field; ideally with a Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Several years of professional experience in logistics, operations or customer management – preferably in an international environment
- Experience in implementing new warehouses
- Leadership experience with large teams (1,000+ employees)
- Strategic strength combined with proven change‑management abilities
- Project management certification (Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent) is an advantage but not required
- Strong analytical skills, negotiation skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
