About the role
- supporting business growth by creating and pricing technical solutions that can be offered to our customers
- analyzing customer RFQs for 4PL and / or LLP business opportunities
- understanding customer needs
- designing and optimizing logistics processes
- assessing innovation/ automation potential
- ensuring timely and high-quality submissions to 4PL tenders
- identifying spoken and unspoken needs of the client and stakeholders
- collaborating with Business Development team
- participating in meetings and workshops with existing or potential customers
- ensuring a seamless handover to Operations and Project Management
- raising gaps with relevant stakeholders
- documenting newly designed processes
- providing insights in supply chain management, logistics networks, processes, systems, modelling and optimization
- analyzing the current state of supply chains
Requirements
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Science/Engineering or comparable work experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Transportation
- Practical and hands-on experience in transportation, logistics or warehousing in a customer facing role
- Experience with Project Implementation and customer onboarding
- Excellent analytical skills with an affinity for numbers and data.
- Excellent stakeholder skills, able to engage and align multiple stakeholders around the same objective.
- Very good formal presentation skills.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
- Experience in 4PL business, Supply Chain consulting or other complex logistics environments.
