About the role
- Ensure all contract objectives and compliance requirements are met
- Oversee Transport Compliance Audits ensuring all accreditation standards are achieved
- Ensure driver training is up to date
- Maintain vehicle compliance for a fleet of vehicles and drivers
- Initiate, prepare for, and lead internal and external compliance audits
- Report on compliance issues internally and externally
- Promote a LEAN culture throughout the site
- Support Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibilities
- Drive process improvements including fuel efficiency and route optimisation
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the transport or logistics sector
- Solid understanding of driver management and vehicle compliance
- Ability to navigate IT systems confidently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently
- Proactive and detail-oriented, capable of working independently and as part of a team
