About the role

  • Ensure all contract objectives and compliance requirements are met
  • Oversee Transport Compliance Audits ensuring all accreditation standards are achieved
  • Ensure driver training is up to date
  • Maintain vehicle compliance for a fleet of vehicles and drivers
  • Initiate, prepare for, and lead internal and external compliance audits
  • Report on compliance issues internally and externally
  • Promote a LEAN culture throughout the site
  • Support Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibilities
  • Drive process improvements including fuel efficiency and route optimisation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the transport or logistics sector
  • Solid understanding of driver management and vehicle compliance
  • Ability to navigate IT systems confidently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, capable of working independently and as part of a team
