About the role
- Responsible for documenting and analyzing files associated with movement of Ocean goods
- Providing a variety of services using entry to advanced level technical and support knowledge covering multiple areas of ocean operations requirements
- Reviewing, completing and processing various degrees of Océan freight documentation, databases producing reports for Océan operations
- Providing basic to more advanced support in the interpretation and assistance to staff and management regarding Océan freight policies
- Providing support researching issues and developing recommendations to resolve issues related to Océan freight Operations
- Assisting in the review and implementation of Océan freight policies, practices and programs to meet organizational needs
- Assisting to ensure compliance with applicable country laws, rules and regulations
Requirements
- Graduation from a high school or secondary school, or equivalent education and experience often accepted
- Typically require less than three years of experience in ocean services or operational area
- Intermediate roles typically require at least three years of experience
- More senior roles typically require at least five years of experience
- At least two years of experience at the intermediate level
- Basic to more advanced general knowledge of ocean operations and services
- Basic analytical skills and good service orientation
- Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction
