About the role
- Reporting to the Financial Controller - Operations & Projects, the key responsibilities of the Finance Graduate (Financial Accounting) role will include supporting the Corporate Control – Financial Accounting team in:
- Processing accounts payable transactions & payments.
- Processing & reconciling all cash management transactions.
- Processing accounts receivable transactions & assisting with debt collection.
- Month-end reconciliations and reporting.
- Reporting to the Finance Manager - Management Accounting, the key responsibilities of the Finance Graduate (Management Accounting) role will include supporting the Management Accounting team in:
- Delivering accurate and timely analysis to facilitate the decision making of ANL (CMA CGM Group) Management.
- Maintaining the integrity of financial information.
- Facilitating Management Reporting.
- Analysing cost accounts to ensure accurate allocation to trade business units.
Requirements
- You hold a tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- You’re an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating in a team environment.
- You have an analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.
- You’re proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and adapt quickly to new systems and tools.
- You’re highly organized and self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- You must have full working rights to live and work in Australia for the entire program duration.
