Senior Counsel – Trial & Defense
Clyde & CoSenior Counsel supporting Trial & Defense practice in a global law firm with extensive litigation experience and superior legal skills. Analyzing insurance policies and conducting legal research.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and provide coverage advice and recommendations for clients;
- Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda;
- Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions with supporting briefs and other legal correspondence;
- Attending depositions, hearings and mediations as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Admission to the Arizona Bar
- 7+ years of experience
- Excellent academic credentials
- Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
