About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Run a full caseload of motor fraud claims and/or litigated motor personal injury claims
  • Carry out investigations with live defenders and take witness statements
  • Review and interpret medical records and medical reports
  • Adhere to reporting and reserving requirements in relation to different client SLAs
  • File management - including initial reports, updating reports and correspondence
  • Attend court and pre-trial meetings, adhering to court timetables
  • Draft all legal documents and client advice
  • Deal with interlocutory proceedings, CMCs and client meetings
  • Support marketing and business development activity with the team and wider Clyde & Co casualty group

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant Motor Fraud experience gained in a defendant firm
  • Excellent knowledge of the litigation process
  • Ability to run own caseload of files
  • Experience with MIB claims would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Previous experience of managing own caseload is required
  • Experience of personal injury litigation would be desirable
