About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As a Senior Solutions Engineer at WithClutch, you will be a pivotal member of our sales team, responsible for bridging the gap between our solutions and our customers' needs.
  • You will combine your technical expertise with your industry knowledge and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the value of our platform to potential and existing clients.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of our product capabilities, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to establish strong relationships both externally and internally.
  • Have a full understanding of the problems we are solving with our technology and be able to assign our solutions/features to the specific pains our clients are feeling.
  • Be able to autonomously configure demo instances for consumer lending and consumer deposits and will have mastered the associated product demo talk tracks.
  • Run at least 1 full sales cycle where you have played the leading role, including solution design for consumer deposits and/or lending.
  • Be the default point of technical escalation for at least one class of complex deals.
  • Work semi-autonomously with limited oversight from management.
  • Be seen as a product expert across all solutions that Clutch provides.
  • Have introduced an AI-enabled workflow that the full SE team has adopted, pointing to a measurable efficiency gain...

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience: 5+ years working as a sales engineer, solutions engineer, or technical consultant, preferably in fintech or for a high-growth startup.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably within the fintech or SaaS industry. Previous training/certifications from Sandler or MEDDIC/MEDDPICC a plus.
  • Technical (Systems Knowledge): Familiarity with various programming languages and output structures, including: Python, React, JSON, JavaScript, etc.
  • AI Fluency: Solid understanding of AI and the ability to leverage it effectively and accurately. Experience with Demostack, inclusive of building tours and clones with unique structures, is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Travel: The ability to travel (both domestically and internationally) up to 50% of the time with little notice.
