Bookkeeper

• Maintain day-to-day accounting: review, entry and matching of invoices
• Record bank transactions and miscellaneous journal entries (general journal)
• Bank reconciliations (approximately 60 bank accounts)
• Manage supplier payments: approval of payment vouchers, preparation and execution of payments via our treasury software
• Reconcile and monitor supplier accounts
• Review and post sales transactions
• Review and record fixed assets
• Reconcile and verify customer accounts
• VAT returns (VAT on cash receipts / cash-basis VAT)
• Participate in periodic closings and the preparation of annual financial statements
• Prepare closing packages under the supervision of the Head of Finance
• Serve as an interface between Business Units and the accounting team
• Contribute to process improvements and internal control
• Manage tenant receipt issuance and monitor collections
• Control and reconcile intercompany transactions.
