About the role
- Define, communicate, and drive the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product portfolio.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Owners, fostering a culture of excellence, autonomy, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the creation and prioritization of product backlogs and roadmaps, ensuring they align with strategic business goals and user needs.
- Act as the key liaison between senior leadership, business stakeholders, design, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Promote and refine our agile processes, ensuring teams are working effectively and delivering value iteratively.
- Drive a deep understanding of our customers' needs through market research, data analysis, and direct feedback to inform product decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment, with a significant portion of that time in a senior or lead capacity.
- A strong background in leading and mentoring other Product Owners, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- The ability to develop a compelling product vision and a realistic roadmap to achieve it.
- Exceptional skills in communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and align diverse groups of people.
- Deep knowledge of agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and how to apply them effectively at scale.
- A strong analytical mindset with experience using data and metrics to drive product decisions and measure success.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP-PO), or similar advanced certification.
- Experience working in a fast-growing tech company or on enterprise-level products.
