Key responsibilities & impact

Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships
Oversee vendor qualification procedures, onboarding processes, and contract negotiation
Drive high-level vendor management strategies
Manage product schedules, budgets, and objectives
Analyze business and financial results
Evaluate vendor services and products
Develop and implement action plans based on analysis
Conduct regular audits
Resolve conflicts or issues promptly
Guide and implement innovative marketing and merchandising initiatives
Review and approve vendor invoices
Train and mentor team members
Serve as the initial point of contact for new and existing vendors
Generate and execute innovative ideas to improve vendor relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or educational experience in related field preferred, or relevant work experience
10+ relevant experience
4+ leadership
Extensive experience in asset recovery, impounds, or vehicle remarketing
Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives that improve recovery rates, reduce operational costs, and optimize the remarketing of repossessed vehicles
Deep knowledge of relevant industry regulations, laws, and best practices related to vehicle impounding and remarketing
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent vendor management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage large-scale operations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and asset management or remarketing software
