About the role
- Lead the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of Workday modules aligned with HR strategy
- Architect scalable Workday solutions and assess release notes/future changes
- Serve as SME in Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting and Advanced Compensation: configuration, testing, troubleshooting, release management
- Build relationships with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to translate needs into system solutions
- Guide stakeholders through system capabilities, business process improvements, and change impacts
- Consult to ensure alignment between HRIS processes and downstream systems
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across HR functions
- Design, build, test, and maintain Workday EIBs for data loads and automation
- Develop advanced reports and dashboards using custom, composite, and matrix reporting tools
- Manage projects for new Workday functionality and enhancements; plan, test, rollout, and document
- Prioritize assignments and oversee functional team resources to ensure timely quality delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or Information Systems; or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of professional experience (preferably with ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle)
- Minimum 5+ years comprehensive experience in Workday HCM and customer-facing HR systems consultation
- Specialization in 3-4 Workday modules; subject matter expertise in Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Workday tools
- Experience with business process design, documentation, and end-to-end project management including implementation and optimization
- Ability to troubleshoot across applications and understand downstream impacts
- Effective communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
- High emotional intelligence, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality execution
