Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and operate backend services, infrastructure, APIs, and integrations
Partner with engineering teams to onboard their support and admin applications
Work with non-engineering stakeholders to understand their operational needs
Own and continuously improve the platform's security and authorization posture
Ramp quickly into unfamiliar and legacy codebases
Participate in on-call rotations
Contribute to platform observability and engineering standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience building and operating production backend services
Strong proficiency in Go and/or TypeScript
Experience in platform engineering, internal tooling, or support/admin systems
Understanding of authorization and authentication systems such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT
Proven scalability mindset
Ability to work across organizational boundaries
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Strong database experience
