About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help the Public Policy team to maintain internal knowledge databases, draft EU stakeholder maps and support with further automation of issue tracking
- Support the team in evaluating EU policy and legislative developments and provide internal updates
- Participate in developing talking points, policy narratives, and presentation materials for external events
- Help compile materials for use by Cloudflare's sales and marketing teams to respond to policy-related questions
- Support work to build and maintain relationships with key policymakers and officials
- Engage with business and civil society entities, including trade associations
- Provide daily/real-time updates to colleagues from Cloudflare Public Policy, Legal, Trust & Safety Teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active, self-starting individual with an academic background and strong curiosity about the business
- Study focus areas: Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Connectivity/Telecoms, Content policy, Privacy issues
- Previous work/internship experience within a technology company, trade association, or EU institution working on relevant policy topics
- Perfect command of English as a working language (both written and oral) is required.
