About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help the Public Policy team to maintain internal knowledge databases, draft EU stakeholder maps and support with further automation of issue tracking
Support the team in evaluating EU policy and legislative developments and provide internal updates
Participate in developing talking points, policy narratives, and presentation materials for external events
Help compile materials for use by Cloudflare's sales and marketing teams to respond to policy-related questions
Support work to build and maintain relationships with key policymakers and officials
Engage with business and civil society entities, including trade associations
Provide daily/real-time updates to colleagues from Cloudflare Public Policy, Legal, Trust & Safety Teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active, self-starting individual with an academic background and strong curiosity about the business
Study focus areas: Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Connectivity/Telecoms, Content policy, Privacy issues
Previous work/internship experience within a technology company, trade association, or EU institution working on relevant policy topics
Perfect command of English as a working language (both written and oral) is required.
