Key responsibilities & impact

You will be responsible for the architectural direction and operational excellence of the services owned by your team, ensuring our intelligence platforms meet the latency and reliability requirements of Enterprise security operations.
You will also drive the professional development of your direct reports and collaborate with product managers and security researchers to turn complex threat data into intuitive, automated customer experiences.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where software engineering meets security research.
You have experience delivering scalable distributed systems, managing complex data pipelines, and leading teams through the transition from "getting things done" to building world-class, reliable products.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic AI workflows.
Prior experience building high-performance APIs or platforms for threat intelligence, security operations, or large-scale data analytics.
8+ years of Software Development experience, with a focus on Go, JavaScript, or distributed systems.
Led high-performing engineering teams for over 8 years, responsible for architectural direction and operational excellence of large-scale distributed security platforms (e.g., Threat Intel APIs, automated mitigation systems). Proven ability to manage technical debt, drive professional development through strong mentorship, and excel at planning and execution to deliver predictable, world-class products in a high-growth environment.
Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing technical debt in a high-growth environment.
Understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain and how to automate the ingestion and distribution of IOCs (IPs, domains, hashes, JA3/4 fingerprints).
Experience with edge computing (e.g., Workers), SQL-at-the-edge (D1/SQLite), and building systems that scale to handle trillions of signals.
Excel at planning and execution to deliver predictable, reliable features for security teams.
Strong mentorship and coaching skills to support the career growth of engineers in a specialized security engineering domain.
