GTM Engineer

Cloudflare

GTM Engineer bridging complex technical infrastructure and sales execution at Cloudflare. Design, build, and ship AI-powered workflows for competitive advantage.

About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and maintain the data foundation our Specialist GTM org runs on, spanning account and contact data quality, enrichment workflows, and data provider orchestration across our stack
  • Audit the stack and generate your own backlog. We have a lot of tools, some overlap, and real gaps. Walk in with a point of view, identify what's missing or broken, and prioritize accordingly, without waiting to be handed a roadmap
  • Ship rep productivity workflows fast: triage asks from the field, identify the low-hanging fruit, and build it, biasing for shipping small + fast and iterating vs designing the perfect solution
  • Know when to go custom: not everything belongs in a point-and-click tool. You're comfortable spinning up bespoke AI-powered solutions when the problem calls for it, and you make that call with judgment, not default
  • Think in systems, not solutions: every workflow you build has upstream and downstream implications. You anticipate them, design for them, and don't create technical debt that someone else has to unwind six months later
  • Integrate third-party APIs to sync events and information across disparate systems, ensuring data flows reliably between the tools your team depends on every day
  • Document what you build. If people can't find it, understand it, or trust it, it doesn't matter how well it works

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, workflow automation, or a technical RevOps role, ideally at a high-growth, AI-native B2B company
  • Direct experience with Salesforce. You know the data model, you've built on it, and you're comfortable owning changes
  • Fluency with AI coding assistants - you're actively building with these tools, not just experimenting with them
  • A track record of owning end-to-end AI and automation workflows, not just contributing to or consuming them
  • A fundamental understanding of APIs and webhooks to integrate third-party systems
  • Strong judgment on the build decision: you know when low-code gets you 80% of the way there and when it becomes the bottleneck, and you act accordingly
  • Systems thinker: you naturally break problems into composable parts, building solutions with separation of concerns so they're reusable, extensible, and easy to maintain
  • High agency + bias for action: you're not paralyzed by ambiguity or imperfect tooling. You know how to experiment, build fast, and clean up as you go
