About the role

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle for Cloudflare enterprise customers
  • Deliver timely and organized onboarding and ensure customers realize full value from Cloudflare products
  • Advise on technical best practices via 1:many events and limited 1:1 engagements
  • Help expand existing business and drive customer success through engagements and success events
  • Create and deliver technical customer workshop content in areas of expertise
  • Provide proactive technical guidance across primary and secondary specializations
  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering, Product, Sales, and other teams to assist with technical escalations
  • Proactively identify opportunities for expansion and capture product or feature gaps to promote retention
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing: internal/external documentation, technical Q&A, and iterating on best practices

Requirements

  • Fluency in English (required); additional languages such as Spanish, German, Russian a plus
  • 5-8 years of prior post-sales customer relationship management
  • Deep understanding of internet layers and protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP)
  • Knowledge of reverse and forward proxies
  • Knowledge of security aspects: Firewalls, WAFs, Bot Management, Rate Limiting, (M)TLS, Zero Trust
  • Knowledge of performance aspects: Speed, Latency, Caching, HTTP/2, TLSv1.3
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to proactively identify and solve problems and build sustainable solutions
  • Technical curiosity and commitment to staying up to date with industry trends
  • Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize competing demands
