Review and approve deals, ensuring they comply with established pricing, discounting, and commercial policies. You will serve as a gatekeeper for deal integrity.
Act as a subject matter expert for the sales team on standard deal terms, product configurations, and deal submission requirements. You will be the first point of contact for common questions and deal-related issues.
Identify and propose opportunities to automate, streamline, or simplify our deal approval processes, particularly for repetitive tasks and standard deals.
Manage and monitor the deal queue to ensure we meet internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and keep deals moving through the pipeline efficiently.
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in a sales support, sales operations, or finance role. Experience with a SaaS company is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with numbers and contract terms.
A strong aptitude for identifying issues and finding effective, policy-compliant solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can clearly and concisely explain policies and procedures to a sales audience.
Proficiency with common business software, including Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Experience with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and a CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tool is highly desirable.
A desire to understand and improve processes and an interest in how technology and automation can make your work more efficient.
