About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and drive end-to-end user research using generative and evaluative methods
- Synthesize research findings, data, and user insights into actionable product and business recommendations
- Define goals, develop user stories, and elicit functional and usability requirements for complex systems
- Specify measurable usability and accessibility criteria across platforms
- Design complex interaction flows, user paths, and edge cases across varied contexts
- Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes for testing, validation, and stakeholder alignment
- Deliver scalable, user-centered visual designs incorporating visual identity and branding standards
- Improve visual and interaction design within the design system and propose implementation solutions
- Plan and implement information architecture and content organization
- Integrate user feedback and testing results into iterative product development
- Advocate for user-centered design, accessibility, and usability best practices
- Set and manage personal OKRs aligned with departmental goals
- Mentor junior designers through coaching plans and constructive feedback
- Introduce new methodologies, tools, and industry trends to the product team
- Participate in peer reviews and establish organizational research and design standards
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineering from discovery through launch
- Manage cross-functional dependencies and translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Identify and resolve process bottlenecks to optimize design-to-development workflows
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Product Design (UX/UI) experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design processes for complex digital products or platforms
- Experience independently planning, conducting, and synthesizing user research
- Mastery of interaction design, user flows, information architecture, and high-fidelity interactive prototyping
- Strong visual design capability and hands-on experience with design systems
- Experience setting performance goals/OKRs and driving cross-functional alignment with Product Management and Engineering
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or guiding junior designers and participating in design critiques
- Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma
- Preferred: experience with complex B2B SaaS, enterprise platforms, data-heavy applications, or AI/ML-driven interfaces
- Preferred: experience building, scaling, or maintaining enterprise design systems
- Preferred: experience defining organizational design standards and research frameworks
- Preferred: experience in high-growth, fast-paced, and Agile environments
- Preferred: experience designing for multiple user types, roles, or permission levels
- Preferred: experience working directly with engineering on implementation details, tickets, edge cases, and technical constraints
