About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop full-stack AI/ML applications on Cloudera to demonstrate enterprise AI and agentic use cases
Work directly with strategic customer teams to advance AI and agentic use cases from prototype to production readiness
Advise customer leaders on AI roadmaps, solution design, deployment, and use cases
Standardize successful patterns into reference architectures, productized solutions, starter kits, and internal playbooks
Act as a thought leader and mentor Cloudera teams
Contribute to resources that expand Cloudera’s AI capabilities
Feed customer and channel signals back to Product teams to improve AI platforms and products

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade systems
2–4 years of experience building ML systems or GenAI/agentic applications
Strong software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI/ML skills
Experience building full-stack ML applications or agentic systems with modern AI frameworks and tooling
Experience with foundation models, context engineering, fine-tuning, semantic search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic workflows
Deep understanding of LLMOps/MLOps, including evaluation, observability, serving, monitoring, and lifecycle management
Experience designing scalable AI solution architectures aligned with enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards
Ability to engage directly with technical and executive customer audiences and translate needs into technical strategy
Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving customer environments
Collaborative mindset and passion for mentorship, internal enablement, or reusable tooling
BSc/MSc/PhD in a related field or equivalent experience
This role is not eligible for immigration support or relocation
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is an additional qualification
Experience using the Cloudera platform is an additional qualification
Experience with Spark, Iceberg, NiFi, or similar open-source big data technologies is an additional qualification
Experience with NVIDIA GPUs, inference optimization, model serving, or distributed AI workloads is an additional qualification
