About the role

  • Design, implement, test and release new features and enhancements for Cloudera Data Warehouse
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, support, UX, and documentation teams to deliver features and enhancements
  • Provide support to our field team and customers, facilitating product adoption and growth, smooth implementation and troubleshooting

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, and 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm and Docker containerization
  • Solid Golang programming skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaborative mindset
  • Comfortable interacting online with a worldwide team
  • Some Experience/Familiarity working with cloud services such as relating to Authentication/Authorization, Managed Kubernetes, VMs, Storage services on any of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience supporting high customer impact systems in production and on-call rotations
  • Experience writing Kubernetes Operators (also preferred)
  • Experience with DevOps, Linux Troubleshooting (also preferred)
