About the role

  • Independent project ownership: You are responsible for independently managing and leading cloud projects.
  • Kubernetes clusters: Build and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
  • CI/CD pipelines: Design and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
  • Terraform templates: Create and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform.
  • Cloud architectures: Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures on Proxmox and Rancher, and optionally on AWS/Azure.
  • Security and compliance management: Ensure that all cloud solutions meet high security and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshooting and optimization: Proactively troubleshoot and optimize existing cloud infrastructures and, where applicable, handle service tickets related to cloud operations (no night or emergency shifts).
  • Mentoring: You may take on, coordinate, and train a junior consultant in new technical topics.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in cloud consulting with a focus on Proxmox and Kubernetes (ideally at enterprise level).
  • Solid Linux skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, and other cloud technologies and tools.
  • Nice to have: Experience with AWS, Azure, and Rancher.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to mentor a motivated junior cloud consultant and share knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability: We value someone the team and clients can trust; customers should feel in good hands with you.
  • Fluent German (C2) and English (C1).
