Social Media and Content Marketing Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You conceptualize, create, and publish audience-specific content for our social media channels.
- Primarily LinkedIn but also X and Instagram, including editorial planning, community management, and performance analysis.
- You develop and manage our content marketing initiatives across the entire B2B customer journey — from awareness through consideration to customer retention — and are responsible for their operational execution across all relevant channels.
- You identify relevant topics and trends, independently write technical articles, advertorials, and press releases, and place them strategically in specialist, industry, and leading media.
- You test new content and channel formats, contribute creative ideas, and develop innovative approaches to sustainably strengthen our brand perception, visibility, and reach.
- You continuously analyze the performance of your activities using defined KPIs such as reach, engagement, traffic, or conversions and derive concrete optimization measures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You are highly proficient with social media OR you hold a degree in communications, media, marketing, business administration (BWL), or a comparable field.
- You have professional experience in social media and/or content marketing — ideally in a B2B environment, but this is not mandatory.
- You have a strong sense of language and can prepare complex content clearly, precisely, and in a channel-appropriate manner.
- You are well-versed in editorial planning, campaign management, and tools such as ChatGPT, Canva, and common content management systems.
- You have initial SEO experience, e.g., through keyword research or content optimization, and have worked with SEO tools like Google Search Console or SISTRIX.
- You have experience producing PR content, technical articles, and advertorials and know how to place them professionally in relevant media.
- You work in a structured, team-oriented way and communicate effectively; you demonstrate initiative, a passion for innovation, and a strong hands-on mentality.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
