About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and book journal entries to ensure revenue, cost, and AR treatments are appropriate
Complete ASC 606 analyses for new revenue streams
Assist with monthly accounting close, analyze fluctuations and provide meaningful financial reporting
Understand and communicate relevant accounting principles to peers and partners
Analyze current procedures and recommend process improvements for efficiency
Operate with minimum supervision
Support the external audit process, create improvements for identified inefficiencies
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
Advanced MS Excel skills and experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent field (preferred)
CPA (preferred)
Recent audit experience (preferred)
Experience in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment (preferred)
Experience with NetSuite (preferred)
Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Hex, and/or Metabase (bonus)
