Program Officer, Supply Chain

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support day-to-day implementation of the open eLMIS across target health facilities, including data entry, verification, and basic troubleshooting
- Compile and organise eLMIS data to support routine reporting and performance monitoring, and draft progress updates and field reports for review by the PSM Senior Associate
- Assist in preparing materials and logistics for eLMIS user trainings, workshops, and follow-up support visits for MoH, warehouse, and facility-level staff
- Provide on-site coaching and follow-up support to health facility staff on eLMIS use and stock management practices
- Maintain regular communication with government counterparts at central and provincial levels including MPSC and provincial health offices, and represent CHAI in technical meetings and coordination forums as required
- Support coordination and information sharing with implementing partners, and contribute to the preparation of meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up actions
- Develop and maintain work plans, activity trackers, and programme documentation, and coordinate logistics for meetings, trainings, and field visits
- Support administrative tasks and other duties as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or higher in public health, supply chain, pharmacy, or a related field
- At least 2–3 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both Lao and English
- Strong coordination, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with government and partner counterparts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in health supply chain management or a related public health field is an advantage.
- Familiarity with health systems strengthening and PSM approaches, existing eLMIS, Health Management Information System (HMIS) and other relevant systems used in Ministry of Health Laos is an advantage.
