About the role
- You create regular reports & analyses, e.g., on sell-through, NOS rate, inventory turnover, weeks of supply, as well as size and color performance
- You analyze the performance of items, categories, collections and sales channels
- You spot trends, outliers and early indicators — before they become a problem
- You derive concrete recommendations, e.g., for: reorders or cancelations
- Assortment and quantity adjustments
- Input for upcoming collections
- You support purchasing and collection planning with data-driven decision basis
- You analyze sell-in vs. sell-out in wholesale and make differences visible
- You identify best & worst sellers and explain why they are
- You work closely with purchasing, sales, product management and retail
- You continuously develop KPIs, dashboards and analysis standards
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or degree (e.g., Business Administration, Textile Management, Fashion Management, Business Informatics)
- Initial to several years of experience in the textile environment is an advantage — private label experience is a plus but not required
- Good understanding of: collection logics
- Seasonality cycles
- Retail and/or wholesale mechanics
- Confident use of merchandise management systems (e.g., SAP, Navision, Infor or similar)
- Very good Excel skills, ideally experience with BI or reporting tools
- You think analytically, but always with a business mindset
- You can explain numbers clearly and translate them into decisions
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
