About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own outbound prospecting motion by strategically engaging high-value target accounts through outbound calling, personalized messaging, and multichannel outreach.
  • Build early pipeline by uncovering needs, assessing qualification status, and converting conversations into actionable sales opportunities.
  • Ensure flawless lead flow by documenting all interactions in Sales Prospecting Tool and CRM while seamlessly securing and coordinating confirmed meetings between the prospect and the appropriate Sales Representative to ensure a smooth handoff and accelerated opportunity progression.
  • Own the inbound lead qualification motion by rapidly responding to marketing generated inquiries—including form fills, calls, emails, and referrals—conducting thoughtful discovery to assess fit, determine urgency, and advance strong prospects into sales-ready opportunities.
  • Strategize with sales reps in your territory to effectively, and efficiently, prospect for new business opportunities.
  • Work in a team environment to build and maintain ongoing prospective customer relationships to achieve growth targets.
  • Stay up to date on product updates and changes and effectively communicate and transition this knowledge to less experienced peers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in a sales development or lead-generating role
  • Prior experience utilizing AI tools, like Microsoft Co-Pilot, to assist with prospecting and outreach strategy
  • Previous experience in lead generation, sales, and/or account management is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of sourcing high-quality leads through phone-based outreach strongly preferred
  • Experience in SaaS or healthcare sales is strongly preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, HubSpot Sales, ZoomInfo is preferred
  • Knowledge of the clinical laboratory industry is a plus
