About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ownership of Quality Metrics: Take full ownership of the Service Quality Index (IQS) and the Bug Score indicator for the squads you coordinate, ensuring continuous improvement in systemic quality and proactive prioritization of fixes.
SLA Assurance (Support Tickets): Fully own the management of support tickets for the squads to ensure service deadlines are met with excellence.
Leadership in Post-Mortems: Lead deep investigations after incidents that cause instability, eliminating superficial analyses and diving into the true root causes (development failures, QA, processes, diagnostics or communication).
Instrumentation and Predictability: Structure weekly executive reports of operational metrics to provide actionable information to engineering and executive leadership.
Roadmap Visibility: Report the status and progress of product roadmap deliveries clearly, chronologically and regularly, preferably using Gantt charts.
Architecture Mapping: Identify early which roadmap items will require direct involvement from the architecture team, bringing teams into the discussion proactively.
Interface with Product: Establish and maintain a close interface with the Product team to ensure upcoming requirements arrive fully understood and without ambiguities for the squads.
Flow Optimization (Kanban): Actively monitor delivery progress using Kanban principles, controlling Work in Process (WIP) to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce queue/backlog wait times.
Development and Training of Direct Reports: Manage overtime demands and technical debt, and continuously focus on developing new leaders capable of ensuring continuity of internal processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant experience providing services or developing solutions for financial institutions (Fintech/Banking).
Strong knowledge of financial business rules applied to ERP systems.
Previous experience coordinating, leading or managing development squads for large-scale SaaS products.
Track record of monitoring deliverables tied to technology and engineering KRs.
Tools and Platforms: Hands-on experience with agile project management and goal/KR tracking tools (e.g., Jira and Qulture).
Proficiency with visual timeline tools for schedule control (Gantt charts).
Agile Methodologies: Deep knowledge of agile frameworks, with a strict focus on Kanban principles, flow bottleneck mitigation and Work in Process (WIP) control.
Technical and Management Skills: Strong analytical and investigative ability for diagnosing complex root-cause problems.
Ability to map software architecture requirements early and manage operational risks.
Behavioral Skills: Proactive profile with a broad business perspective and strong operational pragmatism for fast decision-making under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal communication to manage cross-squad alignments.
Courses and Certifications (Differentials): Certifications in agility (such as KMP, Scrum Master), project management (PMP), or a university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.
