About the role

  • Be part of a collaborative outpatient team
  • Work as a community mental health worker with adults who would not be able to access care otherwise
  • Learn and appreciate the support of an agency to develop expertise in MI, SFBT, DBT, ACT and other trauma informed modalities
  • Support your self-care needs with a flexible schedule and trauma focused care
  • Report directly to the Manager of the Broomfield Outpatient Services.

Requirements

  • Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related degree
  • Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist (LMFT), or within 6 months acquire full license of LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
  • Experience working with substance use disorder
  • One (1) or more years experience in a clinical environment
  • Experience and interest in working in an outpatient clinical setting facilitating assessments and supporting the intake and treatment planning process
  • Proficient with clinical modalities to include: Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma focused therapies (EMDR, WET, CPT, TF-CBT, or other), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, other Cognitive Behavior Therapies.
